In Augusts of 2008 I followed Ryan through a typical week and captured video clips of the various therapies he participates
in that are preparing him to walk again.
When people ask me "What do the doctors say about Ryan walking someday?" I have to answer that they don't really say anything. Ryan has surpassed all expectations by living and waking up, eating, talking, laughing etc... Based on his injury and how his brain looks, he's doing things never expected of him. So I will not put limits on him and my personal expectation is that he will surprise us all. Most of what he's doing with his legs has all emerged in 2008.
In fact, he has improved a great deal since August 2008 so this video is actually already out of date. Watch it anyway- it's a great song and a sentiment that drives us all.
